At Central Transport Training we keep our pricing clear and straightforward. Below you’ll find typical course lengths and starting prices for our most popular vocational driving courses in Wolverhampton. All training is delivered one-to-one with experienced instructors using our modern fleet, and we can arrange your practical tests at our on-site DVSA-approved centre. Our published course prices are based on typical course durations, they do not include any of the test fees. The test fees and any additional elements are detailed at the bottom of the page. Category C1
Typical duration: 5 Days.

Ideal for ambulance, healthcare, recovery and specialist vehicle roles. Covers vehicle control, reversing and on-road driving.
Category C
Typical duration: 5 Days.

Training for rigid large goods vehicles over 3,500 kg. Ideal for delivery, refuse, removals and construction work. Includes preparation for Module 3A and Module 3B tests.
Category C+E
Typical duration: 8 Days.

Train in a conventional articulated vehicle from the start. Prepares you for professional Class 1 driving, including Module 3A (off-road) and Module 3B (on-road) tests. Ideal for those who want direct experience of articulated lorries.
Category C+E
Typical duration: 8 Days.

Same Category C+E licence as the articulated route, train on a rigid with a trailer. A shorter course and typically 25% cheaper whilst less demanding. Artic familiarisation available afterwards if required.
Category C1+E
Typical duration: 5 Days.

Allows you to drive Category C1 vehicles with a trailer over 750 kg. Ideal for recovery, ground maintenance and specialist vehicle work where a larger trailer is needed, Covers coupling, uncoupling, reversing and safe towing.
Category D

Training for minibuses and coaches. If you need to drive minibuses or coaches we have the ideal solution, Includes practical instruction, vehicle handling, passenger safety and full test preparation.
Periodic Driver CPC
Typical duration: 1 Day.

Complete the 35 hours of periodic training required every 5 years to keep your Driver CPC valid. Suitable for professional LGV, bus and coach drivers. We offer individual and group courses, with both National and International options available.
Module 4 Driver CPC
Typical duration: 1 Day.

Practical preparation for the Driver CPC Module 4 demonstration test. Covers vehicle safety checks, load security, preventing illegal entry, emergency situations and safe working practices. Suitable for both LGV and PCV candidates who need the initial Driver CPC qualification.
